On 15 December 2026, we at TitanApps are releasing a paid version of the Smart Checklist Free app, expanding it into a process management solution for Jira. On the same date, the free version reaches end of support.
Why we’re doing this
Smart Checklist Free for Jira has been on the Atlassian Marketplace for 10 years. In that time it’s helped countless teams bring structure to their work, and we’re proud of the value it’s delivered to customers like you.
But maintaining the free version has become unsustainable. Rising infrastructure, team, and operational costs have forced us to make the hard decision.
On 15 December 2026 we’re releasing a paid version of this app, expanding it into a process management solution for Jira. On that same date, Smart Checklist Free version reaches end of support – we’ll stop maintaining it, and it will no longer receive updates or fixes.

What this means for you if you’re Smart Checklist Free customer
All you checklist and templates data stays untouched. Nothing gets deleted on 15 December.
We want to support our customers during the transition period. We are giving 90 days’ notice so you have time to plan. Here are the paths available:
- Migrate to Smart Checklist Pro. No data loss, unlimited checklist usage and more powerful features.
- Stay on the Smart Checklist Free version. As long as you don’t approve the new paid version, you can keep using Smart Checklist Free. Your checklists and setup stay exactly as they are today – but from 15 December, without updates, fixes, or support.
We recommend Option 1. If your Jira site has 10 users or fewer, Smart Checklist Pro is free for you under Atlassian Marketplace pricing – there is no cost reason to stay on an unsupported app.
All Smart Checklist Free customers received an email with the full instructions. All the additional details you can check in the documentation.
